Cup cakes!

Been ages since I made a cupcake! Especially at 8:00 in the morning before “school” now UNI! :O Where has the time gone?! Rushing the icing in case I miss the train! Here is my Go-to 30 min cake recipe that, not only is fast (and gives time for washing up to keep, mum or aunt or anyone who has to share a kitchen with you, happy) they look super cute too!

8:00 – Check you have all ingredients (sugar + butter + eggs + self-raising flour + icing sugar + food colouring),            then get the scales, bowl and electric whisk out.
8:02 – Weigh two eggs, (120g). Measure butter (120g) and sugar (135g) in a bowl, whisk until just creamy.
8:04 – Add the two eggs and whisk quick.
8:05 – Weigh in flour (145g). Whisk on medium speed till flour half mixed then on high till completely mixed and          you begin to see air bubbles.
8:07 – Turn on oven to gas mark 5/ 200 degrees C (with fan). Get out cupcake tray and layout 12 cases
8:08 – Spoon batter evenly into cases.
8:10 – Put in oven on the top shelf.

8:1 1 – Wash up 😦
8:24 – Fill a mug with icing sugar and boil the kettle.
8:25 – Remove cakes from oven and onto a cooling rack.
8:26 – Pour hot water into the mug (a teaspoon at a time) to make up icing to ‘slightly runny’, then add a                 little food colouring.
8:29 – Add icing to cakes (reserve one to make crumbs) then sprinkle the cake crumbs on top.
8:30 – Box the cakes and run for the train! Or just chill

Have fun – speed baking!

Prince Harry

IMG_3227I love the Royals! A LOT! So when I saw this photo, just after I had been discussing how HRH would be the best royal (if any) to prompte my illustrations… The things I end up discussing! Ha! Any way, I started doodling (very girly and slightly ‘chav-ish’ is what I was going for). ❤

Get on with it then!

IMG_3222So no more moping around… I’ve had my rest now it’s time to get on with other projects. Definitely feeling more determined to work better, manage my time well and produce some substantial, meaningful work.

My Heightened Awareness Project, where we have to be at all times, noticing the unnoticed, finding the insignificant significant etc…

will be posting more of my philosophical findings soon 🙂

Final Booklet – Part 2

We have submitted our books for moderation and are now left to wait…

I know I could of done so much more if I had just planned my days better, however nothing can be done and I will just have to pay the price of being lazy…

Out of all the experiments and recording my least favourite part is the annotation, I thouroughly detest writing, because of that I always forget to aknowledge my thought process, which, in turn, makes it very hard for the reader/ examiner to underdstand my book, way of thinking and ideas… That has to be the worst thing ever, how can they give marks on something incomprehendable?! Oh deary, deary me… I’m not expecting much of a grade this time round.

But for those who are curious as to what my book looked like, here are some pretty pictures.

Prince Charles Celebrates Lifetime of Achievement on His 65th Birthday

LOVE THE IMAGES! Charles is in my book!!

The Royal Firm

Prince Charles and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall visit Akshardham Temple on November 8th during their nine day tour of India. Prince Charles and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall visit Akshardham Temple during their nine day tour of India.

As Prince Charles marks his 65th birthday this Thursday, November 14th, he reaches an age when most people prefer to focus on drawing a pension, blissful days of retirement and slowing down. Instead, Prince Charles has steadily increased his royal duties, including this week’s tour of India and Sri Lanka where he will be representing the Queen at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting, Prince Charles is proving that he’s just getting started.

Prince Charles doesn't really eat lunch. He sometimes has a sandwich but nothing else. If he is out working he may just have a drink of orange juice. This is probably why he is the exact weight as 30 years ago and still wears all of his old suits and uniforms. Prince Charles doesn’t really eat lunch.
